James Drummond has a knack for describing scenes in a few sentences, and had a really good writing style. The Indian lore surrounding the creature brought some originality to the plot.

The yearly celebration of Krampusnacht is one of Bad Gastein’s most cherished traditions. Rachel Chochopi arrives right in the middle of the festivities to investigate an unexplained atmospheric disturbance and soon realizes that something else supernatural has arrived in town as well. The recently turned vampire will have to put her own dilemmas aside to rescue some kidnapped kids from a Christmastime monster.

-Relaxed Reads review for The One You Feed

I would recommend this book and give it a 5 out of 5 fangs. I will also be looking into getting the first book in the set as I enjoyed this one so much.

James was born in Arlington Heights, IL and graduated from DePauw University with a bachelor's degree in English writing. A lifelong fan of supernatural action-adventure stories, he's attempting to put a new spin on familiar folklore with his Shadow Tales series.
